Position Purpose: The Program Manager will compose all communications pertaining to the Medicare Member Contact Center as well as attending various meetings throughout the day to stay tuned into the needs of the business; creating, managing and maintaining Team Newsletters to promote employee engagement. This position will serve as the central liaison for all internal and cross-functional communications, ensuring alignment and contributing to the enhancement of overall organizational performance. 

Program Management:

  • Compose all communications pertaining to the Medicare Member Contact Center.

  • Establish effective communication paths for articles/job aid updates, performance initiatives, and implementations.

  • Manage multiple projects through full project life cycle process including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, facilitating project execution, deployment and closure.

  • Utilize corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects.

  • Maintain detailed project documentation as needed including action items, issues lists and risk mitigation plans.

  • Develop strategies to realize improvement opportunities and ensure organizational prioritization and resource alignment.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve service levels and to ensure regulatory compliance through enhanced strategic communication channels.

  • Provide functional and technical knowledge regarding overall program requirements and operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Provide leadership and effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders, including executive summaries and presentations.

  • Lead cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company’s objectives (i.e. – attend weekly and bi-weekly work group meetings).

  • Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify and secure resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.

* Approximately 25% travel in this role.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 5+ years project implementation, product or program management experience.

  • Managed care or prescription benefit management experience preferred.

  • Communications/Marketing, or Training experience highly preferred.

Pay Range: $86,000.00 - $154,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
