Northrop Grumman needs Radiation Effects & Survivability (RES) engineers to team up and help lead the RES design, development, and analysis of complex electronic products for space systems.
At Northrop Grumman Space Systems RES engineering is the impact of the radiation environment upon the operational capability of components, assemblies, equipment, subsystems, systems, and other space platforms. RES engineers perform radiation effects analysis, shielding analysis, survivability analysis, radiation analysis reporting, simulation of electronic components relative to space radiation effects; electronic protection; hazards of radiation to electronics, materials, and personnel.

Basic Qualifications:
This position can be filled at level T3 or T4
Level T3 - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics or closely related technical discipline with 5 years of experience.
Level T4 - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics or closely related technical discipline with 8 years of experience.

Salary Range: $107,300.00 - $160,900.00Salary Range 2: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
