Your role

About you

• Good understanding of International Track Alignment design standards. Understanding of Network Rail Standards
• Proficient in developing track alignment design using Power Rail Track or Open Rail designer, Civil 3D.  
• Able to create models, drawings, plan and profile, cross sections using MicroStation, AutoCAD
• Able to develop design/check plain line, S&C and complex track alignment
• Able to check the design/drawings produced by juniors and provide comments for improvement
• Able to understand Multi Discipline interfaces and its impacts to track design
• Able to work on new track projects, renewal schemes. Strong working knowledge in regression analysis through Power Rail Track or Open Rail designer
• Able to perform calculations, write technical reports accurately under minimum guidance from seniors
• Knowledge of CAD/ BIM standard
• Good working knowledge on Microsoft excel, ProjectWise or Autodesk construction cloud
• An understanding of track construction methods & staging design
