Leidos is seeking a Director of Technical Services & Engineering to lead Hawai‘i Energy’s engineering, technical services, data analytics, and technical program strategy functions. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position provides leadership and strategic direction for all technical activities that support the achievement of Hawai‘i Energy’s energy savings performance targets.
The Director will oversee a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technical specialists, and data analysts responsible for developing and implementing energy savings methodologies, measurement and verification protocols, program data analytics, data portals and reporting dashboards. This role is closely integrated with IT initiatives in coordination with the Deputy Director. This leader will contribute to the long-term technical vision for the organization, ensure programmatic compliance, and drive continuous improvement across Hawai‘i Energy’s portfolio.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in energy efficiency and demand-side management, demonstrated success leading large technical organizations, and the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into business strategies that advance Hawai‘i’s clean energy objectives.
