Summary We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Lead with strong hands-on expertise across core AWS services, serverless frameworks, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end cloud solution design, development, and implementation while guiding teams on best practices, performance optimization, and secure cloud adoption. This role requires deep technical skills in AWS Lambda, Amplify, Glue, DynamoDB, S3, and Python, along with leadership capabilities to drive cloud initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, Amplify, Glue, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFormation. • Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. • Develop serverless applications and automation scripts using Python and AWS-native tools. • Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows using AWS Glue and related services. • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for cloud application delivery. • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and best practices to engineering teams across projects. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Data Engineering, Security, Architecture) to ensure smooth solution delivery and governance compliance. • Optimize cloud performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis. • Maintain clear documentation for architecture, processes, and operational runbooks. Professional & Technical Skills • Strong hands-on proficiency with: o AWS Lambda (serverless functions), AWS Amplify, AWS Glue, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch o Python programming for automation, APIs, and backend workflows • Experience designing and implementing large-scale AWS cloud architectures. • Solid understanding of IAM, networking, authentication, and cloud security best practices. • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins). • Familiarity with IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK. • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Additional Information • AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional, DevOps Engineer, Developer Associate) are preferred. • Experience with monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, OpenTelemetry) is an added advantage. • Exposure to microservices, containerization (ECS/EKS), and API-driven development is beneficial. • Ability to mentor developers, review designs, and enforce cloud standards across teams.
