We are hiring a Medical Office Specialist in our Neurology Clinic. This position performs a variety of functions in the medical office including but not limited to answering the telephone, communicating messages through E-Mail or EPIC, greeting, registering and scheduling patient appointments, collecting patient co-payments, making appointment reminder calls, verifying insurance and other patient data and provide accurate scanning and or uploading of patient information to patients electronic chart.
This position will also provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals and prior authorizations. This position will float between multiple locations as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent skills in multi-tasking, customer service, computer, written and oral communications.
