Job Description:

Overview:

The AI/MT Specialist is responsible for exploring and leveraging AI and MT opportunities to enhance the quality of our linguistic operations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to identify, implement, and manage MT/NMT and AI-driven solutions that improve linguistic quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI technologies or MT Technologies, experience in linguistic applications, and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities:

AI Exploration and Implementation:

  • Investigate and evaluate AI technologies and solutions that can be applied to current and future linguistic operations.
  • Identify AI opportunities that align with the goal of enhancing linguistic quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement AI initiatives that drive quality improvements in linguistic processes.

MT/NMT Utilization:

  • Identify opportunities for utilizing MT/NMT technologies in current and future linguistic operations with a focus on quality enhancement.
  • Evaluate and recommend MT/NMT solutions that align with the organization's linguistic quality goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating MT/NMT technologies into existing workflows.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Tools & Process teams and other stakeholders to explore AI & MT applications and integrate them into existing workflows.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of AI & MT solutions.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address challenges related to AI & MT initiatives.

Asset Management and Coordination:

  • Manage AI & MT related assets and ensure they are effectively utilized to support linguistic quality enhancement.
  • Coordinate AI & MT initiatives, prioritizing those that have the highest impact on linguistic quality.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI & MT solutions to ensure they meet quality and efficiency goals.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI & MT and linguistic technologies to continuously improve processes.
  • Provide training and support to team members on the use of AI & MT tools and technologies.
  • Suport and help Developing best practices and guidelines for the integration and use of AI & MT in linguistic operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in AI technologies and their application in linguistic or localization contexts.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI techniques.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in AI development, such as Python, TensorFlow, or similar.

Pluses:

  • Experience in the gaming industry, particularly in localization or linguistic quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies used in the gaming industry.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Certification in AI or MT related fields.
  • Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game development processes.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $55,800.00 - $103,230.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
