Purpose Statement: The Finance Compliance Analyst I is responsible to focus on foundational tasks related to financial compliance such as data gathering, conducting basic compliance checks, and supporting higher-level analysts or leaders.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Ensure the audit work is adequately supported, properly documented and aligned with the stated objectives. Interact with all levels of business management and internal/external auditors (where required) to understand the risks associated with the area subjects to audit. Provide support to internal and external auditors.
- Ensure external audits are completed within the established timeframes and any delays/issues/concerns are communicated to management on timely basis for discussion and resolution
- Identify and assess key risks and evaluate key controls to improve the effectiveness of Plexus' risk management, control and governance processes and improving the operations of Plexus.
- Monitor and assess management's progress on past audit results and update the external audit findings tracking sheet
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree. Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Degree / Master Degree / PhD in any discipline.
- Certificate / Diploma with min 8 years related working experience or equivalent will be considered.
Other Qualifications:
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel
- JDE and FAS experience a plus
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Problem solving skills
- General office equipment and materials
Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
