Swivel (SWBC’s Payments division) offers technologies to its clients and other technology companies that enable them to facilitate specialized services through online, voice and API interfaces. This role will be responsible for creating UX/UI assets that allow for Engineers to take these experiences to a new paradigm.  The selected individual will be required to have the ability to speak strategy and Tech to create assets that are feasible but stretch our abilities, have the confidence to pitch why moving from our comfort zones is important for revenues and costs, and be incredibly dedicated to finding ways to make our products enjoyable. This position has the option of working remotely.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Establishes product design frameworks that can be deployed across product lines.
  • Works with product managers and software engineers to build something that users can’t get enough of.
  • Works with Engineering to groom user stories, product specifications and acceptance criteria to meet the team's definition of “ready”.
  • Ensures alignment with the business logic and end-state product vision.
  • Anticipates bottlenecks and build consensus by understanding stakeholder requirements and constraints.
  • Defines what a frictionless experience should be for hundreds of thousands of monthly consumers and tens of thousands of enterprise users.
  • Shares work with peers and leaders to articulate why we do what we do for our users.

 

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited college/university. Working experience in lieu of associate degree accepted.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience with User Experience to include a minimum of (2) two years’ experience with User Experience for SaaS Products.
  • Minimum three (3) years of solid experience building products for Fis, such as Credit Unions and banks.
  • Familiarity with back-end programming concepts like APIs and JSON, Node.js and C#.
  • Familiarity with front-end programming: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, REACT.
  • Solid experience with Figma and Agile
  • Visual design, System Design and UX Copywriting experience are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficient knowledge of organizational and planning skills. 
  • Proficient ability in collecting and analyzing data. 
  • Expert ability to solve problems. 
  • Advanced ability to communicate and interact effectively. 
  • Advanced ability to collaborate and build relationships.
