Role and Responsibilities:

Management of Commercial Effectiveness Team

  • Provides leadership, vision, direction and focus for direct report’s activities while fostering learning and motivation of employees

  • Manages employee performance by clearly communicating expectations and coaching individuals on gaps in skills and abilities required for success

Sales Effectiveness Planning and Execution

  • Develops and leads sales effectiveness strategy for regional sales area, leveraging market trends, to lead sales coverage and RTM efforts with RSL and DSM’s (direct/indirect)

  • Collaborates with team to build, prioritize, and execute tactics and initiatives regarding sales coverage and sales force development

  • Leads and enhances the grower, dealer, cooperative, and distributor level planning process across the regional sales area and with direct reports

  • Identifies skill deficiencies amongst sales force with RSL and DSM’s to support the creation of annual sales training plans aligned with skill gaps

Market Development Planning and Execution

  • Builds tactical marketing plan, supporting strategic marketing direction, for key crops/products across regional sales area

  • Aligns and provides direction for market development priorities, including field demonstration objectives and focus crops/products for regional sales area

  • Builds product launch plans, aligned with commercial effectiveness leader and marketing team, to enable successful ramp up of new technologies, products, concepts, and management strategies

Organizational Performance

  • Meets and exceeds key annual performance metrics

  • Manages within allocated resources while seeking and driving growth for Stoller/Corteva

  • Represents RTM level needs, trends, challenges, and opportunities internally with commercial marketing and sales teams

  • Manages all resources in alignment with budget and company policies

Geographic Scope / Areas of Responsibility:

Region 1: Rio Grande do Sul and Eastern Santa Catarina;
Eastern Region (Espírito Santo, Matas and Northern Minas Gerais, and all Northeastern states); Northeast Grains (Western Bahia).

Region 2: Goiás, Brasília, Northern Grains and MAPI.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy;

  • Advanced or fluent English proficiency;

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in people management;

  • Previous experience in the Biologicals market;

  • At least 5 years of prior experience in Sales and/or Marketing roles.
