What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced resource to join out Risk & Compliance team. This role focuses on AML/KYC risk management, regulatory deliverables, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to strengthen risk frameworks, drive remediation initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.

AML/KYC Risk Management & Remediation

• Review and enhance AML/KYC frameworks, processes, and controls to align with regulatory standards and internal risk policies.

• Support bank-wide remediation initiatives and ensure timely execution.

• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans in response to regulatory changes or internal policy updates.

• Prepare governance materials for senior management forums for endorsement and decision-making.

Regulatory Deliverables & Governance Reporting

• Coordinate and prepare responses to regulatory queries, internal audits, and external reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Develop and deliver high-quality reports and presentations for governance forums and stakeholder meetings.

• Present key updates to senior management, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination

• Collaborate with First Line (1LOD) and Second Line of Defense (2LOD) teams to support AML/KYC initiatives.

• Drive alignment and consensus on remediation actions across business units and control functions.

Job Requirements

• Experience in AML/KYC risk management, compliance, or financial crime prevention within banking or consulting.

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance processes.

• Proven ability to manage remediation projects and deliver regulatory responses.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CAMS) are a plus.
