Senior Associate/Supervisor with a strong background in technology (e.g., requirements, design, development, architecture, cloud technologies, implementations and operations) and specific experience in the Microsoft Power Platform to support the design, development, and support of RSM’s client-facing application development team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for building, managing, and extending business applications using Microsoft Power Platform components like Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
  • Develop ETL process in the Microsoft suite of applications (MS 365, Power Platform, Fabric)
  • Create robust data models that enhance performance and usability of applications and reports.
  • Continuously monitor application performance, resolve issues.
  • Optimize for better speed, reliability, and user experience.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Leverages knowledge to collaborate with architects to translate requirements into solution designs.
  • Coordinates delivery plans, testing, training, and support for delivery of new applications.
  • Document solutions and provide training to end-users.
  • Define security roles and permissions to ensure that the right users have access to the correct data and functionalities.
  • Ensure that all data handling is compliant with organizational standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Participates in team demos and retrospectives to validate quality, provide team feedback, and improve team processes.   

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of software engineering experience, including software development, operations, cloud, and/or DevOps
  • At least 2 years designing and creating integrated PowerApps portal apps, Dataverse, Power Automate automated cloud flows and/or Microsoft Fabric
  • At least 1 year scripting experience (e.g. Python, JS, Office Scripts, etc)
  • Able to translate customer needs into business solution designs using creative problem solving
  • Able to depict complex ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences
  • Natural curiosity to learn and get into the details
  • Well organized and disciplined in following process
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold at least one of the following certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate
    • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $65,500 - $105,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
