We have an immediate opening for a Compliance Analyst to join our amazing Legal and Compliance team. This role, reporting to our VP of Legal will support our Compliance and Risk programs. The Compliance Analyst will be part of the team responsible for supporting the risk management framework for the company, including programs related to information security, privacy, third party risk, regulatory compliance, and business continuity planning. This position will work with departments throughout the organization to evaluate the design and effectiveness of Spinnaker’s procedures and controls to ensure compliance with our stated standards.

Requirements

  • Required: 1-3 years of professional work experience
  • Desired: 1-3 years of experience in compliance programs
  • Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Support Spinnaker’s compliance frameworks and administration with a focus on continual improvement
  • Maintain internal compliance against organizational policies and procedures by the planning, testing, remediation, tracking and reporting on internal control reviews and risk assessments
  • Assist in identifying and communicating control gaps and evaluating management remediation action plans and related reporting
  • Conduct risk assessments of third parties as part of the Vendor Risk Management program
  • Guide and assist management throughout the maturity of programs
  • Sustain awareness of external regulations for new or changed requirements within Spinnaker (GDPR, ISO27001, etc.).
  • Work across teams to accomplish security and compliance program goals.
  • Develop internal audit schedule and complete internal audits to support maintenance of externally audited ISO certifications
  • Manage data mapping and inventory management requirements and activities as per GDPR regulations
  • Provide support to the Senior Compliance Analyst as needed

Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data and geographic location.
