Job Title: Senior Engineer, Product Engineering (Prod Dev)

Location: Philippines

About the Role:

As a Senior Engineer in Product Engineering for Product Development within our Automotive division, you’ll be driving new product introductions (NPI), yield/cost improvement, and production readiness for high-performance automotive semiconductor solutions. You will work closely with design, test, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver robust, manufacturable products that meet stringent automotive standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new product introduction (NPI) activities, including characterization, qualification, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with design, test, reliability, and manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM), yield optimization, and product reliability.
  • Analyze electrical and manufacturing data to identify yield, quality, and reliability issues; implement solutions to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Define production test limits, validate test coverage, and monitor ongoing product performance in manufacturing.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product issues during development.
  • Own documentation, report generation, and communication of key findings to stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of automotive industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product engineering or related roles, preferably in automotive semiconductor development.
  • Solid understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC characterization, test methodologies, and statistical analysis (JMP, Admap, etc.).
  • Experience with NPI, yield improvement, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Experience with automotive quality standards (e.g., AEC-Q100, ISO 26262) is a plus.
