As Adobe continues to drive its Experience Manager

(AEM) product line into the Cloud with our SaaS offering

we are looking for customer-facing, technology experts to

provide guidance to customers on their journey. The

Cloud Subject Matter Expert (CSME) will be responsible

for both ensuring a successful transition into the new

Cloud based offering, and continued optimisation and

value realisation once fully running.

The CSME consists of technically savvy individuals who

have extensive experience building, supporting web-

based applications at the application layer. The result we

desire is close collaboration with product engineering and

's to deliver an exceptional experience to AEM Cloud

Service customers. CSME's are trusted advisors to

customers, and the voice of the customer to internal

teams. The CSME team has a strong focus on client

success and customer governance with frequent

interaction with clients ranging from technical

development and operational teams through to senior

leaders and execs. This includes supporting the

continuous improvement of AEM deployments through

technical process, optimization of software

configurations, training and best practices guidance.

What You’ll Do

•The ideal candidate possesses the ability to

comfortably investigate and address

complicated technical issues.

• A strong working knowledge of AEM and related

technologies (such as Java) is essential.

• A passion for helping our customers drives you

navigate through their AEM Cloud journey. You

will engage with customers as they onboard, get

them ready for their launch and then provide

coaching and guidance through their run &

operate phases to ensure they are getting

maximum value from the service.

• Additionally, CSMEs identify patterns of

problems and work closely with AEM product

engineering and SRE teams to drive observability

and develop the procedures and toolsets that are

needed to bridge communication and optimise

the experience of our clients. Candidates should

have demonstrable familiarity with a variety of

modern cloud-native and automation concepts,

practices, and procedures.

What You Need to Succeed

• The CSME team is a problem-finding and

problem-solving team. Candidates should be

keen on learning and exploring new

technologies.

• Proficiency with programming languages (one or more - Java, Python, HTML/CSS/Javascript,

etc.).

Experience with AI/ML in an Operations

environments (AIOps) would be an advantage.

Experience with customising and optimising

AEM, especially AEM Cloud, or an equivalent

content management system.

CSMEs are expected to demonstrate a healthy

degree of inquisitiveness to understand and

improve the status quo to deliver higher value to

our customers and be eager to take on any tasks

that need to be accomplished.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $141,300 -- $259,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $179,400 - $259,800

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
