What We Need:
We’re seeking a talented Collections Support Analyst to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting critical processes that drive efficiency and accuracy within our operations.
What You'll Do:
Collect customer information for the credit application and approval process
Assist in conducting periodic account reviews to identify and follow up on key accounts
Maintain all collections notes in collections tool, including supporting documentation
Consult and advise management regarding the status of outstanding accounts
Monitor the status of outstanding collection activity to identify opportunity areas and adopt procedures to improve the overall collections process and time to payment
Assist in the development and administration of effective credit and collections strategies and initiatives
Identify accounts that are uncollectible, inform management of risks of lost revenue or other anomalies; assist in the preparation and validation of bad debt write-offs for uncollectible account balances
Generate reports and analyses to help successfully manage past due accounts; assist in the collection of past due accounts
Maintain effective working relationships between iHeartMedia and vendors to ensure credit and collection activities are consistent with iHeartMedia’s overall customer relations
Assist in managing customer accounts in bankruptcy, post-petition issues, and processing of those bankruptcy-related documents.
What You'll Need:
Proficient level in Microsoft Office tool
Proven experience utilizing collections tools and strategies
Ability to multi-task and to prioritize workload
Must have proven customer-oriented attitude with focus on always finding a solution
Ability to establish rapport and credibility quickly
Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting or equivalent work experience
Previous collection experience
Sales or call center experience a plus
