We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Surgery Technician to join our dynamic Oral Surgery team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, assisting surgeons, and maintaining a sterile environment. Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by arranging surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.

• Verify functionality and sterility of surgical instruments and equipment.

• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.

• Collaborate with the surgical team to review procedure-specific needs and protocols.

• Pass instruments, supplies, and sterile items to surgeons during procedures.

• Anticipate surgeon and surgical team needs to facilitate efficient workflow.

• Operate and monitor surgical equipment as directed.

• Assist with transferring patients to recovery areas.

• Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and operating rooms post-surgery.

• Restock supplies and prepare rooms for the next procedure.

• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including infection control standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation related to surgical procedures and inventory.

Education and Certification

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.

Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting, preferred.

• Familiarity with various surgical specialties including Oral Surgery, preferred.

• Some Dental background or knowledge, preferred.
