Join Technology Finance and help shape the future of CommBank’s AI and Data Platforms strategy. Partnering with senior leaders across the Chief Data Analytics Office (CDAO), you'll provide commercial insight, financial leadership and strategic decision support in one of the bank’s most exciting and fast-evolving technology portfolios.
 

This role supports the Data Platforms and AI teams, offering exposure to major technology investments, long-range planning and business-critical decision making.

Your impact

You will be a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, helping translate financial data into clear commercial insights and supporting strategic decision making.
 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with Executive Managers and General Managers across Technology
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities
  • Delivering monthly reporting, variance analysis and insights
  • Building financial models to support investment decisions and business cases
  • Translating complex financial information into simple, actionable recommendations
  • Supporting financial governance, controls and balance sheet management
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working
     

We're interested in hearing from people who have

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Experience in business partnering, budgeting and forecasting
  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
  • The ability to simplify complex financial information for non-finance audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence engaging senior leaders
  • Commercial acumen and a strategic mindset
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
