About the role

What you need to know:

The role will predominantly involve: Study, analyse, manage and quote general ledger major and middle market business in accordance with the AIG guidelines, authorities, strategy, processes and tools:

·       Manage, analyse and defend an existant portfolio of business

·       Build up a profitable book of new business

·       Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business

·       Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions

·       Participate in client/broker meetings

·       Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims

·       Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers

·       Give presentations, trainings and take care of internal and external networking

·       Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives

What we’re looking for:

·       Relevant experience in the insurance environment

·       Dutch, English and French language capabilities

·       Commercial and analytical skills

·       Structured, organized, open-minded, flexible, good communication skills, not afraid of hard work

·       Team player

·       Good communication & presentation skills
