Corebridge Direct

About The Role

This role is responsible for handling inbound customer service calls, processing applications and handling status inquiries regarding the simplified- and guaranteed-issue products sold by Corebridge Direct. During training, this role will report into our San Diego location five days a week. After training, this position has the possibility of working remotely.

Responsibilities

Customer service calls – Corebridge Direct receives an average of over 400 customer service calls per day.  Employees in this role are prioritized to field these calls and either address the client’s question/concern or redirect the client to someone who can, such as a case manager at Corebridge Direct or the customer service team at the issuing company for the client’s policy.

Application processing – Employees in this role will prepare certain types of applications (i.e., IUL) using information captured by the writing agent in our Client Manager system, send those applications to clients via DocuSign, review client-completed applications for accuracy/completeness, and forward in-good-order applications to the insurance company.

Employees in this role serve as the liaison between the agent who sold the simplified- or guaranteed-issue policy and the insurance company that issued the policy.

Please note this is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities of the position, and the requirements of the job may change in line with business needs.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have 1 – 2 years previous customer service experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to think outside the box, must be organized, thorough, able to multi-task and deal with atypical situations. They must also have the ability to solve complex problems within an established protocol of procedures and possible solutions. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $40, 000 - $45, 000 at the commencement of employment.  Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
