Job Description:

Business Strategy Planning Director

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates must live within 50 miles of a PulsePoint location.

The Business Strategy Planning Director will be responsible for the business unit's strategic planning and customer insight work.

How you will make an impact:


•    Understands all aspects of the business and partners with executive leadership to define strategy and successful criteria for the future. 
•    Evaluates Vendor Management's capabilities and identifies improvement opportunities. 
•    Establishes program governance, develops budgets, and ensures objectives are met. 
•    Creates documentation to support presentations and track program success. 
•    Provides strategic consultation to senior business leaders and leads transformation of spend categories. 
•    Leverages relationships and expertise to formulate strategy and road map. 
•    Collaborates with senior management and identifies new solutions. 
•    Forecasts future needs and develops cost-effective strategies.
•    Executes vendor management strategies and maintains vendor assurance programs. 
•    Develops effective business relationships with vendors and stakeholders. 
•    Provides subject matter expertise and remains aware of industry trends. 
•    Directs lifecycle activities for contracts and facilitates planning and implementation of new work items. 
•    Conducts risk and compliance assessments of vendor engagements. 
•    Proposes opportunities to improve results based on continuous needs assessment. 
•    Responsible for the development implementation and monitoring of line of business planning and project activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 years of strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

•    Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
•    Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
