We seek a strategic and customer-oriented sales professional to sell Cold Chain solutions to Retail end-user customers. This position includes, but is not limited, to sales guidance, offer high quality sales proposal, follow sales goals defined annually, product selection support, product application support, product sample tracking, sales administration to Key Food Retail & Food Service End Users, Commercial Refrigeration OEMs, Installers, Consultant, plus develop and keep updated Sales Information Tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell Cold Chain products and services at the mid to executive level

  • Find and develop qualified new businesses using the existing network and growing a more comprehensive network of contacts

  • Manage the ongoing sales process in a leadership fashion

  • Respond to and anticipate customer needs

  • Learn, understand, and communicate Specific Customer Needs. Convert these Customer Needs into Customized Solutions, helping to ensure long-term success

  • Look for and deliver incremental opportunities in established accounts

  • Build and foster relationships within the Cold Chain organization to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Build partnership relationships with customers

  • Effectively develop proposals with others and present, and communicate them effectively to customers

  • Make sure the customer is educated, trained, and oriented

  • Keep management informed of progress and account status

  • Retention and winning new customers with sales growth and profitability.

  • Request support and communicate effectively with other business units globally. 

  • Work in conjunction with the Technical and Sales Team on seeking out, targeting, and initiating contacts with prospective customers.

 

The candidate will be responsible for external customers in Mexico. This includes sales and technical support, while developing and sustaining long-term customer relationships and sales partnerships to ensure entire customer satisfaction.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales with a commercial background experience offering technical solutions to clients.

  • HVAC & Refrigeration experience desired. Knowledge of electronic controls and applications in HVAC&R desired.

  • Able to comfortably and easily use conventional computer equipment and software, including word processing & spreadsheet.

  • Ability to take responsibility, grow the business and deliver results.

  • Willingness to travel – Customers in different cities of Mexico.

Education

  • Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Optional: Commercial Bachelor’s degree with experience in Technical sales.

  • MBA is a plus

  • English - Business & Technical Intermediate

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in the office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
