Hourly Pay Range:

$43.69 - $67.72 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Clinical RN Coordinator - Immediate Care

  • Location: 15 S McHenry Rd, Buffalo Grove

  • Full Time: 40hrs

  • Hours: Clinic Hours are 8-8 M-F, Weekend/Holidays 8-4p. Weekend and holiday on-call, rotating

  • Required Travel: yes - oversees 2 sites

What you will do:

  • Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff within the unit. Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols, safety standards, and the delivery of high-quality care.

  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff. Manage staff schedules, assignments, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

  • Oversee the delivery of patient-centered care within the unit. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans, address patient inquiries, and resolve concerns promptly.

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives within the unit. Participate in audits and compliance efforts, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective actions to improve patient outcomes.

  • Efficiently manage unit resources, including staffing, supplies, equipment, and budget allocation. Monitor and control expenses while maintaining high care standards.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures, within the unit. Maintain a safe, sanitary, and compliant care environment.

  • Facilitate ongoing education and training for unit nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge. Stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare and clinical practices.

  • Oversee the accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and interventions within the electronic health record system.

  • Collaborate with other departments, including physicians, care coordination teams, and ancillary services, to coordinate patient care and enhance the patient experience.

What you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree Nursing - Required

  • Masters Degree Nursing or Health Administration - Preferred

  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) - Required

  • 3 years clinical nursing experience, with a minimum of 2 yrs supervisor or leadership role - Preferred.

  • BLS – Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) - American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross - Required

  • ACLS certification - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) - Required
