The Opportunity - 12-month fixed term contract
The Finance Systems, Operations and Reinsurance Chapter plays a critical role in managing Resolution Life’s financial integrity through efficient cash payments, receipting, reconciliations, and bank account oversight. This team also supports broader business functions by administering expense management processes and ensuring seamless financial operations. Within this dynamic environment, the Accounts Receivable (AR) function is essential to maintaining accurate and timely processing of incoming cash transactions, managing exceptions, and resolving queries across various platforms including ORMB and banking portals.
This role is central to the day-to-day execution of AR activities, including billing, receipting, month-end close processes, and reconciliation tasks. It requires a proactive approach to managing unmatched money queues, handling escalations, supporting audits, and maintaining compliance with internal controls. The successful candidate will also contribute to quarterly banking reviews, credit card management, and premium receipting, while continuously identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
Collaboration is key, with daily engagement alongside offshore teams to ensure business-as-usual operations are delivered efficiently. The role demands strong communication and stakeholder management skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Experience in life insurance or financial services, along with familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP, will be highly regarded.

Requests for payment trace
Banking portal management (New users, amendments etc)
Credit Card application and management
Premium receipting (TSB Client)
Quarterly banking control review (SailPoint Access, limits etc)
Quarterly confirmation of Assets held
Support reconciliations for products administered
Customer queries and complaint support
Support internal and external audits
SOP documentation review and uplift
About you
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

Strong relationship management skills – ability to communicate clearly and manage internal/external
A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
Good understanding of accounting and accounts receivable principles
Ability to proactively prioritise, multitask, and taking ownership on delegated tasks
Compliance with internal controls to ensure all risk areas are minimised
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability work as part of a broader team
Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages
