Quality Engineering Architect

As part of Extreme Network’s Engineering team, this talented and highly motivated QE Architect will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of AI-driven, highly optimized software testing automation systems.

This position plays a key role in introducing efficiencies, reducing risk, and improving quality using modern automation technologies.


Position Information


·       Job Title: Quality Engineering Architect
·       Reporting: Reports to the Chief Development Officer
·       Work Environment: Hybrid work environment. Some travel will be required.
·       Location: Remote
·       Employment Type: Full-time
 
Responsibilities:

Evaluate current processes and identify areas for improvement through automation
Investigate and use AI-driven testing to enhance the automation process
Design and implement frameworks and strategies for implementing automation across the business
Measure the effectiveness of automation strategies and make necessary adjustments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create best practices for automation processes
Review and analyze system specifications and design automation systems to meet these needs
Develop project plans for automation initiatives, including resources and budget estimations
Create and maintain documentation of the automation processes tools and how to use them
Provide training and guidance to team members about the automation
 
 
Qualifications:

Extensive work experience as an Automation Architect or similar role
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and methodologies, including AI-driven test automation
Strong understanding of automation tools and software
Understanding business process analysis and process improvement
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, Go
Knowledge of SQL databases and software development methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
