Brief Description

Under close guidance or supervision, responsible for performing existing operational processes and procedures on vaious platforms, including but not limited to hadoop and oracle. Obtain the necessary knowledge and experience related to patient level data assets such as oncoloty and ambulatory electronic medical records, lab data and health plan enrollment and claims data.

Role and Responsibilities

• Execute and perform scripts related to releases, projects, or fixes supporting new functionality, quality assurance and regression.
• Perform data trend checking, analyze data and investigate on data points that are out of threshold to find/present appropriate solutions/conclusions.
• Document, communicate and analyze data discrepancy.
• Identify test effort needed to appropriately validate data variance.
• Effectively articulate findings or results, data trends and able to come up conclusions.
• Query and analyze large amount of data based on the given task, business requirement and issue in question.
• Create SQL related queries to verify published data requests, retrieve specific data sets and results as needed for validation purposes.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent.
• At least a minimum of five (5) years of work experience in related field is required.    
• Demonstrates strong problem solving and business analytical skills.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of complex concepts and processes. 
• Has initiative to learn and is self-motivated to attend to client needs and resolve concerns with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications especially in Excel (perform data quality analysis) is essential. 
• Good team player
• Healthcare knowledge would be a plus
• Knowledge in SQL programming (Basic to advanced) (T- SQL or PL/ SQL), Hadoop Technology Stack (Spark (Scala based), HIVE, Python, Pyspark, Hue-Impala, SQuirreL is preferred but not required
• Amenable to work on Hybrid Set up in Mckinley, Taguig
• Amenable to work on Night shift
