Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Static Application Security Testing (SAST) to identify vulnerabilities, analyze security risks, and implement effective security measures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of the organization's systems and data. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Identify vulnerabilities in applications through Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - Analyze security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. - Implement effective security measures to protect enterprise systems and data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security of systems and data. - Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies. - Assist in incident response and recovery efforts. - Provide guidance and support to junior security professionals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. - Knowledge of secure coding practices and common security vulnerabilities. - Familiarity with security tools and technologies. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with web application security testing. - Experience with network security and firewall technologies. - Knowledge of cloud security concepts and technologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Static Application Security Testing (SAST). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
