Job Description:

Position Summary:

This position is an advanced level maintenance position. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and able to independently perform a range of maintenance tasks. The individual needs to be experienced and comfortable with electrical work to 480 volts. Accurate troubleshooting and problem solving is a daily part of this position. Experience with automation, robotics, PLC and computer controls desired. Forklift maintenance experience is a plus. Meticulous record keeping is required. Knowledge of basic OSHA, electrical, fire protection, building code and environmental regulations is preferred.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Must be proficient in a range of technical processes or procedures.
  • Must possess maintenance related working knowledge and skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with a low degree of supervision.
  • Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Must be able to contribute to maintenance team initiatives.
  • Must be comfortable working from heights (on ladders, elevated surfaces and aerial lifts).
  • Must be able to adhere to all OSHA regulations and company policies.
  • Must be able to complete administrative work in CMMS.

Here's what you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Some college or technical education preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is required.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, service manuals, and parts manuals is required.
  • His/her own hand tools.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs. on regular basis.
  • Ability to work flex shift and or weekends as needed including occasional holidays.
  • Copies of pertinent certifications and resume with references.

Must frequently sit, walk and stand, use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls, and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating foot controls. Must frequently walk, talk, crouch, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, and reach with the hands and arms. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed. While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
