Position Summary

CVS Health is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of our leadership Benefits Verification team. Qualified candidates will be considered eligible to work from home but must live within 75 miles from Specialty Location.

Supervises and supports a team of Benefits Research Representatives who conduct a detailed eligibility verification and benefit investigation for new and existing CVS Caremark Specialty customers in a high-volume, fast paced environment. Must have a comprehensive understanding of payer requirements for both medical and pharmacy benefits. Validates the accuracy of the team's work, provides regular coaching and feedback to colleagues and ensures that individual and department performance and financial goals are achieved.  

Interfaces with a variety of internal and external customers including patients, physicians, account mangers, sales, pharmacy managers, contingent workforce managers, manufacturer representatives, reimbursement and upper management.

Drives employee engagement, which includes creating an inclusive environment whereby all colleagues are able to unleash their full range of skills, talents and perspectives, ensuring we are the best pharmacy innovation company.  

**May be required to go on site for - round table/focus group discussions/side by side observations/new hire training classes**

Required Qualifications

• One year of supervisory experience in a related environment.
• Three years’ experience working with medical insurance or in a pharmacy environment.
• Must live within 75 miles of a Specialty Location

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty Pharmacy Experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
• Bachelors degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $85,068.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
