Description -
Job Summary
• The IT Project Management family specializes in managing cross-functional team by supporting group progress including scheduling, prioritizing, expectation setting, and cost management for projects relating to information system improvements.
Responsibilities
• Partners with key business owners to create IT project/program strategy using highly-specialized domain knowledge and advanced business experience.
• Develops and leads large and multiple cross-functional and cross-organizational projects or programs with high resource requirements, risk and/or complexity.
• Designs process, product and service improvements for IT project/program management based on understanding of business needs and industry trends.
• Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view.
• Develops standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for project/program management skill and career development.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience.
