Where We Need You 

We are looking for a Learning Portfolio Leader to join our Global Learning & Development (L&D) team, located in any of our Protiviti offices, with a preferred location of Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Tampa or Cleveland. Protiviti works in a hybrid environment and this role requires that you work in-person in our office several times per week.

You will make an impact by leading the development and delivery of multiple learning programs from start to finish, which provide immediate value to our consulting professionals and support our organization’s strategic goals. Learning programs cover multiple areas in leadership development. 

You are a driver in the learning development and delivery process, and you are comfortable in a dynamic environment, adept at balancing multiple priorities, and nimble and positive in responding to changeYou are tenacious and have a hunger for understanding all processes and players involved in creating and delivering learning and enjoy collaborating with others. You have a passion for understanding how learning fits into the greater organizational context and are constantly looking for ways to add more value to support strategic goals.  

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Develop, plan and execute live virtual and in-person learning events of all sizes. Work closely with colleagues, stakeholders and instructional designers to: 

  • Identify organizational learning needs 

  • Develop new or enhance current learning materials to maximize effectiveness  

  • Select and prepare internal facilitators and operations teams 

  • Lead the learning experience and apply exceptional facilitation skills and techniques  

  • Send timely and effective communications 

  • Cast a vision for impactful events outside of the classroom, such as executive receptions, group dinners, virtual networking events, etc. 

  • Collect and analyze participant feedback as an important input for continuous enhancement  

  • Provide exceptional development and culture-building experiences for participants, facilitators, and operation teams 

  • Be an expert on the content. Keep your eyes and ears open to identify opportunities, big or small, to enhance our learning portfolio and deliver greater value to our organization. Go the extra mile to communicate your ideas and your plan for how to implement them. 

  • Drive projects to timely completion with planning and forecasting, creative problem solving, delegation, communication, and influence 

  • Cultivate relationships across the organization, and practice excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed of the latest L&D developments and ensure we are continuing to support their goals. 

  • Keep up to date with innovative learning trends, platforms/technologies, environments (virtual or physical), etc. and share ideas for how we may include these approaches in our learning activities 

  • You may travel frequently (25% or more) to deliver learning programs including some travel over weekend days.  Some international travel may be required.

  • You are exceptionally detail oriented, but are also capable of seeing the “big picture” view and thinking strategically 

  • You are happy to take on any task, whether large or small, but are also a skilled delegator when needed 

  • You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint 

  • You are an avid user of technology (platforms, apps, tools, etc.) and are confident and excited about learning how to use new technologies 

  • You may be familiar with various Learning Management Systems, course authoring tools, and/or other learning technologies, and are able to pick up new technologies quickly 

  • You like to learn, you are curious, and have a passion for people development 

 

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is requiredMaster’s degree is preferred. 

  • You have 5+ years of previous experience in learning and development. Experience in the Consulting/Professional Services industry is preferred.

This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements vary by team, and other business factors.

Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.

$87,000.00 - $131,000.00

Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

The total cash range is estimated from the sum of the base salary range plus the bonus target opportunity. Below is the estimated total cash range for this job.

$95,700.00 - $144,100.00

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
