We’re looking for a ServiceNow Developer to help develop and drive the company’s ServiceNow strategy, its adoption and evolution with a focus on standards. This position will have the ability to play a key role in the design and implementation of custom business solutions. You will work with a strong set of teams to improve developing and deploying applications and customizations. You will partner with Support Services, Technology Leaders and Operations teams to help transform Invitation Homes ServiceNow instance into a world class platform. You will help us continue to build on our strong departmental culture and help chart the course for the future of the technology department.
What You’ll Do
Apply proven experience developing ServiceNow platforms
Meet with key stakeholders to understand business needs through ServiceNow workflows and enhancements
Support ServiceNow related incidents
Grow the ServiceNow footprint supporting key integrations utilizing the Integration Hub module.
Document requirements for both enhancement requests and defects in Jira.
Develop in an agile environment releasing multiple deployments throughout the week
Drive automation of IT Asset Processes utilizing ServiceNow requests and workflows.
Manage implementation of security certificates
Manage ServiceNow version selection, scheduling, testing and deployment
Partner with Asset Manager to implement and support the ServiceNow HAM (Hardware Asset Management) and SAM (Software Asset Management) modules.
Develop custom ServiceNow reports and dashboards to support Operational Reporting requirements
Proven ability to analyze, evaluate, define action plans and coordinate with other teams to support deployments and upgrades.
Who We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
3+ years software development experience
2+years of experience working within the ServiceNow Platform
Very strong technical skills with some architecture and design experience.
Strong JavaScript skills as well as experience working with libraries such as Angular JS, Bootstrap, React and Node.js.
Knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts
Solid understanding and experience with Agile software development cycle.
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet established deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ITIL experience or certification
ServiceNow System Admin certification or ServiceNow Application Developer certification a plus
