Profile Summary:

We are seeking an experienced business analyst or seasoned retirement services professional to join our team as an operations analyst. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the implementation of technology and operational projects on multiple Retirement Solutions operating platforms. Our chosen candidate will demonstrate experience in assessing operational impacts of a proposed system change, an ability to define efficient workflows, a proven track record in assessing and executing user acceptance testing, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels in the organization.

Profile Description:

  • Assess and execute operational readiness activities for large scale technology initiatives or business migration projects.
  • Create or update operational workflows and procedures to ensure smooth implementation of project deliverables.
  • Work with IT Quality Analysts to ensure the adequacy of system testing plans.
    Independently assess user acceptance testing needs, create test plans and execute test conditions to ensure a quality product.
  • Draft customer communications as needed, and prepare and deliver internal training material.
  • In post implementation phase, assess initial execution of new functionality to ensure it is working according to expectations, and drive issue resolution for any implementation issues.
  • Independently assess and drive resolution of complex operational issues, including identifying and addressing root cause, making required operational changes and assessing any needed technology changes.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working as a business analyst in an IT or business setting, or 5-7 years working in varied roles within retirement operations
  • Proven experience planning and executing large scale analysis efforts and/or similar experience managing complex operational issues
  • Proven ability to develop project recommendations and effectively communicate complex processes or technical information to a broad set of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to facilitate meetings and synthesize information from a variety of sources into a cohesive presentation
  • Preferred: Business knowledge of one or more of our primary recordkeeping environments (OmniPlus, Premier/VantageOne)
  • Ability to support periodic weekend implementation checkout activities for technology implementation or business migration projects (average 2-4 weekend checkouts annually)
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma or Agile project methodology is preferred
  • College degree in a business or IT field is preferred, but not required

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$75,830 - $126,390 USD
