Your Team

You will join Murex’s Functional Consulting teams, who work closely with clients to ensure our platform supports their business needs across the full trade lifecycle.

With guidance and hands‑on learning, you will:

• Understand financial products and their end‑to‑end lifecycle
• Translate business and operational needs into clear functional system solutions
• Configure and validate system behaviour based on client requirements
• Work closely with technical, product, and project teams
• Gain exposure to real‑world financial operations and large‑scale, mission‑critical systems

This role is well suited for engineers who enjoy structured thinking, analysis, and learning complex systems.

Your Role

With training and ongoing support, you will:

• Build functional expertise on the Murex MX.3 platform
• Learn core financial market concepts (e.g. trading, risk, operations)
• Analyse client workflows and functional use cases
• Support system configuration, functional testing, and validation
• Assist with system implementations and production investigations
• Contribute to high‑quality solutions for clients across the Asia‑Pacific region
• Work closely with Technical Consultants, Developers, and Project Managers in a global environment

Your Profile

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any specialization)
  Ideal for junior engineers who enjoy problem‑solving and are motivated to learn finance with structured support.
• 0 - 3 years of experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Good English communication skills, as you will work with APAC and international stakeholders
• Strong analytical and logical thinking
• Interest in how systems support business and operations
• Willingness to learn new domains and complex functional concepts
• Ability to explain ideas clearly and work collaboratively in a team
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn

Nice to Have

• Exposure to supporting international or regional users/clients
• Basic awareness of finance, banking, or financial markets
• Experience with enterprise systems, ERP platforms, or large applications
• Internship or academic projects related to IT, engineering, analytics, or finance
• Comfort working with data (e.g. Excel; basic SQL is a plus)
