We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Security Manager to join our team in London, United Kingdom. In this role coordinating the local Security program, you will be experienced in local Corporate Security. Demonstrating leadership, you will align regional security procedures and processes ensuring that your experience delivers industry best standards to the Corporate Security team.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead in all aspects of end-to-end security support for X at onsite and offsite events including site assessments, liaison with external stakeholders, physical security training, vendor selection and security supervision.

  • Proactively maintain and oversee the implementation of global security standards locally. 

  • Oversee the maintenance of all physical security documentation; including vendor training logs, SOPs, asset logs; conduct regular audits of same.

  • Assist in the day to day supervision of the regional guardforce, ensuring all duties are carried out in line with client expectations.

  • Report to a high standard, all security related activities and incidents within the country through the Regional Operations Manager.

  • Collaborate on and manage special projects as directed by management. 

  • Provide security staff with guidance, mentoring and counselling where the physical security program is concerned as required.

  • Participate in event security planning and assist as required. 

  • Assist CorpSec Protective Intelligence team members with regional requests.

  • Assist with liaison duties where required.

  • Be in a position to respond quickly to issues arising within the United Kingdom and mainland Europe where required.

  • Travel to support other offices and events as required within the region, and globally.

  • Establish and maintain working relationship with local law enforcement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum ten years experience working in a dynamic Corporate Security / Law Enforcement environment.

  • Experience within a wide range of security disciplines; including physical security, security operations, executive/close protection, emergency management, investigations and crisis response.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as teamwork skills.

  • Background in a fast paced tech environment where 24/7 availability is required.

  • Friendly, positive and flexible attitude to work.

  • Exceptional communication and managerial skills.

  • Technology oriented; high understanding of security systems, including CCTV, access control and security incident management software. 

  • Experience introducing and implementing corporate policy and procedure.

  • Excellent ability to work on your own initiative.

  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.

  • Strong desire to succeed in a pressurised environment.

  • Self-motivated approach to achieving challenging targets.

  • Executive protection experience desirable. 

  • Willingness and ability to travel on short notice.
