As a Product Marketing Specialist, you'll be at the heart of launching and growing products that make an impact. You'll team up with colleagues across the company to gather insights from clients and users, turning those into go-to-market plans that increase product adoption and retention. Simply put, you'll bridge the gap between what a product does and how it’s marketed and sold.
Job Duties
Know the market & our clients. Dive into the market and uncover what clients need, their pain points, and how our products solve their challenges—plus anticipate future opportunities.
Craft and execute launch strategies. Create positioning, messaging, buyer personas, and go-to-market plans throughout the product lifecycle.
Create great content. Direct the creation of marketing materials, training resources, campaign plans, and thought leadership for your product areas.
Uncover market insights. Leverage market insights to shape marketing materials, sales playbooks, and guide the product roadmap.
Stay ahead of the competition. Research the competitive landscape and develop messaging and tools that set MX apart.
Track success metrics. Monitor metrics like revenue, pipeline, win rate, and adoption—and use insights to drive better outcomes.
Be a team player. Work with marketing peers, product management and sales partners to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all channels.
Support campaigns. Partner with Customer and Demand Marketing teams to boost awareness and demand for your products.
Focus on customer success. Collaborate with customer marketing to identify target clients, showcase wins, highlight use cases that prove ROI, and create compelling stories for marketing materials.
Empower and enable sales. Provide training, content, and support to help the sales team close deals faster and better.
Job Requirements
2+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or a related field.
Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and product marketing strategies.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Comfort in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
A can-do attitude with a passion for learning and growth in product marketing, campaigns, and sales enablement.
Background in fintech or banking is useful, but not required.
Compensation
The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $81,000 to $97,000. This pay range is just one component of MX's total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
