Maersk is looking for a motivated Customs Associate (Italian Speaker) to join our Customs Services team in Rijeka. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in customs operations, international trade, and logistics.

You will work closely with experienced customs professionals while supporting customers operating in the Italian market.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in the preparation and processing of customs declarations.
• Collect, review, and verify import and export documentation.
• Support customs clearance activities and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Communicate with customers regarding customs requirements and missing documents.
• Maintain records and update customs systems.
• Support compliance activities in line with customs regulations and company policies.
• Participate in daily operational tasks and process improvement initiatives.
• Learn about customs procedures, tariff classifications, and international trade regulations.

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Logistics, Economics, International Trade, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Strong interest in customs, trade compliance, and logistics.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
