Job Summary:
Producers are responsible for generating revenue for the company by connecting people and business to policies and services. They guide clients through the entire buying process and close direct sales of policies and services.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for prospecting, soliciting, quoting and selling new accounts.
Identifies and develops insurance prospects and appropriate markets.
Responds to referrals quickly and effectively.
Prequalifies insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk.
Creates and maintains client or prospect lists.
Designs insurance plans and recommends coverage to clients. Surveys loss exposures, needs, and possible uninsurable or difficult to insure exposures for clients.
Delivers insurance proposals, makes sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new or renewal business.
Develops, follows, and achieves sales objectives.
Educates clients concerning agency payment expectations and cancellation procedures.
Asks for referrals from insureds to help generate new business.
Explains coverages and exclusions and documents explanations in the Agency Management System for future reference.
Develop their book of business to be profitable for both the agency and carriers.
Works with clients to ensure limit and coverage adequacy.
Provides needed information and clarifications about clients to company personnel, and documents system by transaction date. Creates letters to clients offering coverage, share information and advice regarding insurance matters. Uses these to round out accounts fully.
Working with the account management team, reviews existing policy coverages in order to upgrade accounts and remarket if necessary.
Assists service staff in collecting client information in preparation of schedules of insurance, summaries and renewal proposals. Reviews appropriate policy change requests and other account activity. Documents automated file as appropriate. Uses each client contact as an opportunity for coverage review and marketing of need covered.
Recommends and helps insureds carry out loss control programs, independently and with company loss control staff.
Retains assigned percentage of accounts at each renewal.
Continues to develop relationships with insureds.

Requirements:
Property and Casualty License is required.
Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.

Should have an existing book of business.
Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals and objectives.

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance or risk management, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2 years of insurance experience, required.

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $68,000 - $71,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
