A Day in the Life

At our HR Shared Services we operationalize, execute & consult on Global Talent & Leadership Development (GTLD) programs and processes to ensure a valuable and personalized HR experience for both employees and managers. The team focuses on building a trusted partnership, showcasing efficiencies, and solving problems to improve outcomes and enable the business. The job opening is for a contingent role. The Associate will collaborate with Medtronic COE, facilitators and learning vendors on a global as well as EurAsia scale (EMEA, APAC).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Partner across HR functions to establish and maintain operational standards and procedures that ensure accurate transactions and effective program delivery
  • Provide system, program, and project support for initiatives such as High Performing Teams, SkillsLab, and Organizational Health
  • Support financial processes related to Global Talent programs, including documentation of key deliverables and budget-related actions
  • Contribute to system requirements that enhance efficiency, automation, and self-service capabilities
  • Identify and resolve customer-impacting issues, driving process improvements and standardization
  • Participate in cross-functional workstreams focused on enhancing employee experience.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR Shared Services or a similar operational HR role 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with at least two HR systems (e.g., Cornerstone, Outlook, ServiceNow) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Collaborative and proactive team player.
