Working Student - Software Team (m/f/d)

Position Summary

You will work within the Cardio-Pulmonary Business Franchise as part of the SW Team on the development of new products. You will work specifically on life-sustaining devices like Heart-Lung on a wide spectrum of tasks during the concept, design and verification phase, supporting the Software development team.

General Responsibilities

• Support the development of SW Integration test at subsystem level as well at system level.
• Develop SW Test cases and define acceptance criteria in agreement with the SW Engineer.
• Support the Root-Cause Analysis using CAN Analysis tools.
• Supports the Software team on procurement activities as well as on managing the electronic components stock

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Medical Devices engineering or similar from an accredited college
• Able to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment
• Open-minded
• Hands-on attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good command of English language. Fluency in German language is appreciated
• Knowledge of C/C++/Python
• Knowledge of microcontroller-based embedded systems
• Experience in White Box testing
• Experience with Laboratory equipment, e.g. Oscilloscope
• Maker attitude
• Able to read Datasheets and Schematics
