Monitoring will be done in person. This also includes bringing/returning the examination material, set-up the exam room, announcing the exam instructions & procedures, invigilating the exams, etc. See Art. 4.3.4. of the Collective Agreement CUPE 2626, applying and enforcing the Common Law Section exam regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
All "Mandatory training sessions required by law for all employees” apply even to proctoring final exams. If you are interested in applying to this position, you must complete the workshops and join a copy of the certificates along with the form Application Form (Appendix D) to your CV as one document before uploading it, when you apply online. A copy of the certificates is needed as a proof before assigning you, the hours of proctoring.
Minimum qualifications: Must be registered in a program of study at the University of Ottawa. Proctoring experience. Must have the ability to work under pressure and communicate clearly and precisely in both official languages. Must be punctual, reliable, discrete and have tact and diplomacy.
