The Job

Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand and Content Marketing, SEA, this role will oversee all Max brand and content marketing activities in Malaysia. The Brand Marketing Manager will identify, develop, and inspire the Company brand marketing efforts to be outstanding, forward-thinking, and culturally relevant. In this role, you will lead all facets of marketing strategy from campaign development and end-to-end campaign management of some of the brand’s biggest initiatives, such as content marketing campaigns that align with both show-specific branding as well as driving engagement with new and existing fans. As part of the Growth Marketing team, you will elaborate on country-specific strategies and work side by side with various internal teams to develop initiatives that meet and fulfill the brand needs of our audience to build consideration, awareness, and brand love.

The Daily

  • Execute the brand and content marketing strategy to bring Max to the audiences in Malaysia

  • Collaborate with the regional marketing team and agency partners in the development and execution of Max launch and ongoing brand and content marketing campaigns

  • Manage the complete brand management process and lead campaigns with a collaborative approach

  • Develop brand strategy and craft a meaningful 360 campaign brief that aligns with larger brand, audience, and channel strategies

  • Steer campaigns throughout the entire organization ensuring partners are engaged and provided approvals along the way

  • Prioritize multiple projects at various stages of execution and development

  • Work closely with Insights & Research to optimize campaigns according to consumer data, framework mapping, and develop trend-based, insight-informed solutions

The Essentials

  • Relevant qualifications in marketing; 5+ years’ experience in marketing, ideally within an entertainment, DTC, or consumer marketing company

  • Experience leveraging performance and audience data to inform successful influencer campaigns

  • Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to drive strategic frameworks through execution

  • Familiarity with audience behaviors and successful content strategies. Capable of extracting consumer and communication insights from our content

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across the organization with team members in various roles and departments

  • Operate with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills

  • Able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter who brings campaigns to market, develops new practices, and is dedicated to analyzing growth through metrics

  • Effective collaborator, adaptable to evolving deadlines and working conditions

  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills

  • Skilled in building presentation decks and synthesizing concise and effective proposals

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Passionate about entertainment, pop culture, and new trends, and excited about our content and product offerings.
