Job Description  

As a Project manager you’ll work on a strategic and complex project. Your responsibility lies with a part of this great project. While working on your part you need to use your strong communication skills to work with other project managers and colleagues on site.  

The whole team has knowledge of Material Handling Systems so speaking in technical specifics would not be a problem for you. 

You will work together with the client to define the cost concerns, schedules, risk management and workflows. You will develop organizational goals and objectives by sharing your knowledge of supply chain concepts, processes and trends in the design and implementation of solutions with the team. 

You’ll succeed in this position if you are not afraid to use your creativity. Because of the size of this project, the number of colleagues and clients that you will work with, we’re not looking for an ordinary project leader. We’re looking for someone who’s second name is communication, is a well listener and stays professional even though there are many fires to put out. 

Your main tasks: 

  • Leads a multi-disciplinary team through the engineering process.

  • Manages engineering / Commissioning and Supports execution.

  • Manages Scope, Planning and Budget for all engineering and commissioning and test activities.

  • Coordinates with other internal and external parties / departments.

  • Responsible for the functional risk analysis to ensure compliance with relevant directives and standards.

  • Manages risk and opportunities within the technical scope.

  • Hands over the tested system to the Project Manager.

  • Plans required capacity and resources for the engineering / commissioning team within the project.

  • In case of Line Manager: Coaching, developing and evaluating direct reports.

Who we are looking for:

A professional with at least 7 years of experience in leading complex, multidisciplinary projects.

  • Languages; effortlessly in English (other languages are a benefit)  

  • Adventures; Can travel Nationally & Internationally and sometimes at short notice  

  • Communication; Be a strong and confident communicator who can collaborate effectively and manage a project organization by leading and motivating teams

  • Initiatives: Identifying opportunities, possibilities and/or threats, taking targeted action and thinks ahead on how to prevent problems.
