Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Duties

Ÿ   Lead the sourcing strategy and execution for real estate investment opportunities

Ÿ   Develop investment acquisition plans and manage internal approval processes

Ÿ   Review and approve pricing models and cash flow underwriting

Ÿ   Oversee due diligence processes and risk assessments

Ÿ   Direct acquisition negotiations and finalize contractual terms

Ÿ   Supervise closing activities including legal, financial, and tax aspects

Ÿ   Manage loan structuring and negotiations with financial institutions

Ÿ   Propose and structure real estate-related investment products

Ÿ   Mentor and manage investment team members and oversee performance

 

Work Experience / Knowledge / Education / Formal Qualifications

Work Experience / Knowledge:

Ÿ   Minimum 15 years of experience in real estate investment

Ÿ   Strong expertise in deal sourcing, underwriting, acquisition negotiations, and closing

Ÿ   In-depth understanding of economic and real estate market trends

Ÿ   Proficiency in preparing investment committee memo and financial models

Ÿ   Experience in negotiating with domestic and international financial institutions

Formal Education:

Ÿ   Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or real estate certifications preferred

License / Registration / Certification:

Ÿ   N/A

Ÿ  Strong leadership and team management skills

Ÿ  Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Ÿ  Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English
