Role Overview:

As a Software Engineer on our Core development team, you'll be instrumental in crafting cross-platform endpoint applications for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll leverage your exceptional technical and communication skills, along with your experience in designing and implementing enterprise-class products. This hands-on role involves the full product development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, code reviews, unit testing, and continuous engineering. We're looking for someone who can foster innovation, take strong ownership, and deliver high-quality software, all while staying current with industry trends to keep us ahead of the curve.

About the role :

• Translate problem statements into robust designs and implementations.
• Interpret architectural specifications to produce clear implementation documents.
• Document component-level functionality, design, and architecture.
• Actively participate in code reviews.
• Assess the impact of code changes, both programmatic and logical.
• Rapidly prototype solutions by leveraging existing functionalities.
• Promote and lead reviews of application source code and technical documentation.

About you:

• You have 6+ Years of experience in product development.
• Developer with Expertise in C++.
• Strong understanding of fundamental OS concepts and Windows internals.
• Proven experience with programming, debugging, and problem-solving, including familiarity with tools like WinDbg.
• Ability to write robust Unit Tests.
• Developers are expected to deliver high-quality, self-tested code that requires minimal QA intervention.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Python is desirable.
• Cross platform development exposure is a plus (like Linux/Unix/Mac)
• Exposure to kernel-level development is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in modern software development practices and tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD).
• Demonstrates a persistent, can-do attitude
