Veterinary Technician

Brandon Lakes Animal Hospital is a companion animal hospital that is actively looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our amazing team. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. Requirements:

• 2+ years in the veterinary industry
• Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Believes in the importance of client education
• Compassionate toward our patients and clients
• Motivated to learn new skills
• Positive and supportive team player
