Job Summary:
The Red Hat Information Risk and Security team is looking for an Associate Systems Administrator in the Czech Republic. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the evolution of our security infrastructure. You'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including OpenShift containerization and infrastructure-as-a-code practices using Ansible. Develop expertise in system integration and Linux management while implementing GitOps principles for seamless application deployment and maintenance. What will you do:
Deploy and maintain apps on Openshift
Assist with deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and capacity planning for business-critical systems and infrastructure
Maintain and expand the Ansible codebase comprising custom roles, collections, or playbooks
Identify opportunities for automation and other improvements
Perform day-to-day systems administrator duties in relation to bare metal, virtualized, and cloud-based hosts across our environment
Collaborate daily with distributed team members
What will you bring:
Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally
Willingness to learn and proactivity work as a part of a wider team
Working knowledge of written and spoken English
Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system is a plus, but not required
Basic knowledge of Ansible or any scripting language is a plus, but not required
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes/Openshift is a plus, but not required
