About the team

EMEA Payroll Team members is hiring fixed-term contract employee for the position of Payroll Analyst to join our team in Serbia (maternity leave cover).

We are located in FIS offices across the region and report to one of the Payroll Managers in either UK, Poland or South Africa. The Global Payroll Team are part of a wider department of HR related experts known as The People Office consisting of HR Operations, People Direct, Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Career Mobility, Learning, Payroll and more.

What you will be doing

• Cooperation with external payroll vendor
• Collecting payroll input ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
• Processing payments
• Reporting and paying all taxes and other liabilities
• Serves as liaison to employees and payroll associates to ensure payroll processing accurately reflects company-specific pay policies
• Serves as point of contact for accounting, finance, mobility, and other internal departments for payroll matters
• Documents payroll processes and procedures.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Broad knowledge of Serbian payroll principles, practices, processes, and procedures
• Knowledgeable in the use and administration of payroll systems e.g., Workday
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Additional European language is an asset
• Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments concurrently
• Additional European payroll experience is an asset
