What's exciting about the role 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our South Area team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, installation, and training for customers, as well as general maintenance, repairs, and the sale of ancillary products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, serve diverse customers, and help drive satisfaction through superior service. 

Main responsibilities  

  • Customer Support & Service: Provide prompt, professional service for customer installations, technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Verifone products. 
  • Installation & Training: Execute installations and deliver on-site training for new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience. 
  • Maintenance & Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure the functionality and reliability of Verifone equipment. 
  • Sales of Ancillary Products: Identify customer needs and recommend additional Verifone products or services that would benefit their business. 

Skills and Experience we desire 

  • Previous experience as a Service Technician or similar role is preferred. 
  • Basic technical knowledge of hardware systems is advantageous. 
  • Formal training or certification as an Electronics or PC Technician is a plus. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support customers effectively. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle field responsibilities autonomously. 
  • Strong service orientation, representing Verifone with integrity and dedication. 
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic environment, including rotating Fridays. 
  • Valid driver’s license required.
