At Chamberlain Group, our interns work on real, meaningful projects that are at the center of our business strategy and our company’s transformation.  Our program offers you:

During this 12-week program, the Data Science interns will be is responsible for working closely with business partners to identify opportunities where the application of innovative data science techniques and methods can dramatically advance Chamberlain Group’s business objectives.  You will transform these priority opportunities into incremental business value through the design, development, and delivery of solutions using statistical and machine learning methods to provide insight that support Chamberlain Group’s transformation and rapid growth. Upon completion of the project, the interns will have an opportunity to present their results and findings to Chamberlain’s Executive Leadership Team.

Internships at Chamberlain are designed to give college students opportunities to complement their formal education with career-related experience. Interns will have an abundance of hands-on development opportunities and interactions in a real-world business environment. As a member of the Advanced Analytics team, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with professionals across the business in an upbeat and modern co-working space

Must be able to work from our Oakbrook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) a minimum of 3 days a week 

.

During the internship, interns will have an opportunity to do the following:

• Work on applying knowledge acquired in the classroom to real-world business situations.

• Access personal development learning opportunities including training sessions, meetings, and presentations.

• Establish professional relationships with Chamberlain’s employees and business partners.

• Share ideas and provide new insight.

Data Science Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deliver explanatory and predictive models

• Iterate delivered models and reports based on stakeholder feedback

• Create documentation and training materials for end-user understanding of developed analyses

• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes

Project Management Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to identify & prioritize project requirements

• Execute the prioritized project backlog using the Agile Methodology and tools like JIRA & Confluence

• Take accountability for requirements to deliver according to project schedules

• Deliver results and findings to upon internship completion
